CornerOfMyEye#2: The Leftovers

Something that keeps coming back to me today is this sequence at the beginning of Episode 2, Season 2 of The Leftovers:

Something about routine sequences in Damon Lindeolf shows is so beautiful to me. What it means to me perhaps is that this monotony is so comfortable in it’s essence but the disruption of it comes almost out of necessity. That at first is uncomfortable but in retrospect is essential to the overarching story, which I believe is very true to how life is. And the Bellamy Brothers song “Let Your Love Flow“ goes along with the sequence just like the sweetest dream.
